Summer is a great time to go boating, but more people on the water means more potential for danger. Alcohol is a factor in nearly 40% of fatal boating accidents in Canada, and conditions like sun exposure and choppy waves can make things worse.
Remember that it’s against the law to operate a boat while impaired, help keep the water safe for everyone this summer, don’t drink and boat.
